We here at Struggle Skateboards would like to give a huge welcome to our newest addition to the Struggle Skateboards Pro Team.

-RDT's- We would also like to welcome our newest RDT rider from Northern California Nick Rodriguez. Keep your eyes peeled for some rad footage of him tearing up the streets on some Struggle wood. And on top of all this we are stoked to announce the first RDT ad to hit the public scene. The 1st of many RDT ad's to come. Longtime Struggle RDT rider Mariano Valenzuela earns the first ad which is featured in the latest issue of JOHN DOE magazine. As well as on the John Doe blog. Congrats Mariano! Many more ads to come from our RDT riders.


THANK YOU to all that came out to the Holtville Valley Voyage stop this past weekend. It was amazing! Huge shoutout to the locals there you were all rad and thanks for lending your backyard mini ramp! STRUGGLE UPDATE #2

Alright everyone we got some sweet updates to inform you about. We have a NEW STRUGGLE dealer! All of you have known where to get Struggle decks at now we have an exclusive shop carrying everything else. Struggle shirts,hats,shades,and everything else we got can be found at the:

They are a rad clothing/cd shop with an in house Printshop built in. On top of that its a Venue for bands!!! How gnarly is that? Way gnarly!! If you happen to live in El Centro go on by their shop and support buy some Struggle gear or pick up a CD. They are open from 9:00 to 5:30 .

They are also the first shop to carry our newest limited edition T-shirt.

Also we got the 6th stop of the Struggle Skateboards VALLEY VOYAGE TOUR!
HOLTVILLE,CA is the next stop for us on this tour. We will be having a super awesome contest called the DOLLAR HOLLAR!! Basically you show up, and we all skate together to different spots in a Wild In the Streets type format. We stop at various spots and one of our riders will announce when to start shredding. All of you that are ripping and we feel deserve a dollar for your perfectly executed trick shall leave with a dollar! And if you tearing it up the entire day at every stop in the city you may end up leaving with quite a bit of bucks. And as always dont forget that if you rep a Struggle board or shirt you will get hooked up with a little something.Peep the flyer below!

TYRONE OLSON has a new Struggle Skateboards ad in TRANSWORLD SKATEBOARDING magazine. It can be found in the most recent issue. December 2008. Check it out and show your support by getting one of his decks.

RUBEN NAJERA recently suffered a gnarly concussion. Hes going to be out for a few days but should be back by the time the Holtville Valley Voyage stop comes around. He also sent me in some rad photos of him at the Sneaux shoes boothe at the ASR tradeshow where he had a full sized banner with more than a few awesome photos featured on it.

On top of that he also pulled off the FRONT COVER of the latest PETER GRIMM catalouge. With a photo taken than none other than our very own photog:Obeso.

If you happen to have a copy of the catalouge flip through the pages and you will find that Ruben has landed a gripload of photos within the mag as well. Even a hefty Table of Contents sequence photo.

Rigo Soto just finished shooting his intro for the upcoming Struggle Sundays show that will be featured on Firststoke.com. Wait till you see his new ride!

Mariano Valenzuela and Flippy Zendejas will be at next weekends Valley Voyage stop! Atop from that I hear they filmed some legit runs in Seeley last weekend.
Aron Lawrence is at it again with some new Trick tips! His latest installment, the "Backside 5-0 grind".

And we would also like to welcome Wisconsin Neal to the RDT team! Wisconsin hails from the great state of Oregon! Shout out to all you rad ass Oregon skateboarders you dudes are cool as heck! Thanks for all the support!

Be sure to keep checking back for updates and what we call the "Big 4" are coming up after the Holtville stop. Calipat,Brawley,Calexico, and the grand finally in El Centro are all on the way for the Valley Voyage tour. Those four stops will be the biggest of them all. Also the world famous and annual STRUGGLE SHOWDOWN is coming up this November. Maybe December. We will see how fast we get things together. You know its going to be big though! We keep shit legit!

Oh yea and the website is getting fixed up as we speak. You can see the temporary website up already. Its a start right?It will be done soon enough!
