Struggle Skateboards Am DIEGO NAJERA is all over the place at the moment. He recently received the front cover of the Imperial Valley Press. A full article was written up on him about his championship win.

We are also going to be doing our 2nd ever DOLLAR HOLLAR event in the Imperial Valley. Its also what we are going to be calling the official "SKATEBOARDING DAY IN IMPERIAL VALLEY". Why? Because we want to and because the Imperial Valley deserves its own Skateboarding Day. We want everyone that lives in the valley to show up and skateboard with us. It doesn't matter who you are or what click you roll in. On this day we are all brothers just like we should always be. We all share the common bond of skateboarding and in that alone we are all friends. We will also be hooking up the first 50 kids with free T-shirts from various different skateboard brands! Its our Christmas present to the local skateboarders. If we can get more shirts then we will hook more up but first come first serve. Thanks to everyone out there that is supporting. As seen in the Transworld News section today! The West Coastin Tour is coming up!
We will be doing a west coast tour with 4 different stops at some of our finer retailers in California. We call it the "WEST COASTIN" tour. And its going to be off the hook.

First stop will be at Elyzium surf & skate in San Diego,CA for an autograph signing.

Then we will be at Driscolls in El Centro,CA for an autograph signing/skateboarding demo. This is also the final stop of the Valley Voyage tour so its going to be HUGE!

We then have a skateboarding demo/autograph signing at SHELTER skateshop in Fullerton,CA. And the following day after a stop probable stop at Ghost skateshop back in San Diego,CA for an autograph signing.

So if your in the area be sure to head on out. We will be turning the entire documentation of the "West Coastin" tour into a DVD so be sure to roll up and be a part of it.

This upcoming weekend is GO SKATEBOARDING DAY!!! No one is doing anything for the Imperial Valley so we figured we might as well make something happen! The 2nd annual Struggle Kickflip challenge which is open to "UNSPONSORED" riders only this year. And of course free entry if you have a Struggle board. Also we will hold the IMPERIAL VALLEY RALLY 3 award ceremony on this day. So if you were a part of a team that participated this year be sure to show up. If none of the team members from the "winning" team show up then the first place prize automatically goes to the 2nd place runners up. SO BE THERE!!!

UPDATE #12

The Imperial Valley Rally entries are in and currently being looked over and judged at the moment. Stay tuned for an announcement as to where the "Award Ceremony" will be held. It will probably be done in conjunction with another event as well.

Speaking of events this upcoming weekend (Saturday June 6th) you can find some of our Struggle riders doing a demo for you over at the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds. The demo is indoors and is part of an IVROP event is going down hand in hand with the city.

The "BRAND SPANKING NEW" Struggle Skateboards website is done as you may very well have already checked out! It took a while but we are proud of the outcome and the new look. There are tons of new features on it and be sure to join our very own "Children of the Struggle" skate community that we have going now. For those of you that have never heard of the IMPERIAL VALLEY RALLY its a 10 day scavenger hunt throughout the entire Valley mixed with all kinds of tasks ranging from skateboarding tricks to silly stunts. You film everything and turn in your footage on the due date. All tasks are worth different amounts of points. The team with the greatest amount of points wins. Its probably the funnest contest in the history of mankind. AND ITS FREE TO ENTER! So dont miss out people!
